We kindly inform you that on January 4, 2021, HORTICO SA acquired 100% of shares in OGROFOL Sp. z o.o. based in Włoszakowice, as a result of which this company became part of the HORTICO SA Capital Group. The location of OGROFOL (near Leszno in Wielkopolska) allows for a geographical increase in the area of ​​our operations. The acquisition of OGROFOL sp. z o.o. is part of the strategy of expanding the Capital Group by acquiring entities with significant growth potential in the industry.

OGROFOL operates in the field of wholesale and retail trade in gardening products, and its main business line is offering gardening foils under its own brand. OGROFOL has its own garden center and a wholesaler offering “profi” and “hobby” products.

In the near future, OGROFOL will remain an independent entity within the HORTICO SA Capital Group. We are extremely pleased that the current owner of OGROFOL, Mr. Leszek Jagodzik, will continue to cooperate with us and will serve as a Member of the Management Board of OGROFOL sp. z o.o. We would like to inform you that the Management Board of OGROFOL will be expanded and Paweł Kolasa will serve as the President of the company.

We are convinced that the transaction of purchasing OGROFOL by HORTICO SA will also be beneficial for the current business partners of our Companies, who, as a result of its implementation, will receive stability of cooperation and the opportunity to increase the scale of their operations and generate profits in the long term.

Mr. Maciej Rdzanek from HORTICO led a training on the possibilities of the most effective use of biological protection using Bioline® products. Several solutions that help combat pests occurring in the summer aroused particular interest among gardeners. At the end of the meeting, we raffled valuable prizes among the training participants and then went to the Toscania Restaurant for dinner, during which the training participants could talk to each other and to the speakers.
